| The I-232 is designed to operate two fluorescent lamps in parallel, insuring emergency light output from one lamp even if the other lamp is burnt out or otherwise inoperable. In the case of only one lamp operating, the I-232 will provide more power to the single lamp for additional lumen output. | |

The I-232 Fluorescent Emergency Ballast allows the same fixture to be used for both normal and emergency operation. In the event of a power failure, the I-232 switches to the emergency
mode and operates two of the existing lamps in parallel for 90 minutes. The unit contains a battery, charger, and inverter circuit in a single can. The I-232 can be mounted in the wireway or on top of the fixture, and is UL Listed for retrofit
applications. The I-232 can be used with most 2'-4' lamps, with an initial output of up to 1400 lumens for two lamps (700 lumens each lamp). The I-232 is compatible with all electronic or magnetic, series or parallel output, multi-lamp ballasts.
