ETS Emergency Control Device

The ETS Emergency Transfer Switch from IOTA Engineering allows the use of auxiliary generator power on a switched fluorescent fixture in power failure situations. The ETS senses the loss of normal AC power and switches the AC ballast to the auxiliary generator supply. The ETS will operate the lamps at full light output for as long as the generator is able, and will work in conjunction with any lamp type and fixture on the generator circuit. Dimming ballasts require one ETS for each hot lead.

ETS-20 Emergency Control Device

The IOTA ETS-20 Emergency Control Device allows the use of auxiliary generator or inverter power on switched fixtures in power failure situations. The ETS-20 senses the loss of normal AC power and bypasses local control devices such as switches, occupancy sensors, or timers, providing emergency power to the fixtures regardless of the control setting. The ETS-20 allows for operation of the load at full light output until normal power is restored or for as long as the generator or inverter supply is available. The ETS-20 will work in conjunction with any fixture on the designated 20 amp circuit per the rated specifications. Allowing for the use of switched fixtures with a generator or inverter supply eliminates the need for night lights and promotes increased energy savings.

IOTA Emergency Driver and Emergency Ballast Mounting Accessories

Accessories include materials for remote mounting the battery pack or the test kit.

TMK- The TMK is used to cover the wiring that goes from a top-mounted battery pack into the fixture. TMK models are available to accommodate different battery pack sizes.

TBMK- The TBMK mounting kit allows for remote mounting the emergency battery pack on the T-bars of a grid ceiling.

RTK- The RTK Remote Test Kit provides remote mounting of the test switch and indicator light for either TBTS or two-piece test accessories.

RME1- The RME1 enclosure allows for remote mounting of non-flexed battery packs. The emergency battery pack is secured within the RME1 and wiring is routed through the RME1 flexible conduit.
