Take a Quick Look at Some IOTA Highlights from Last Week's Lightfair!
"Thank You!" to everyone for helping make IOTA's 2018 Lightfair an event to remember! Last week's 3-day exhibit at Chicago's McCormick Place was IOTA's biggest yet, with an expanded showspace, new product demonstrations, and eleven IOTA team members interacting with hundreds of LFI guests. Here are just a few highlights from the show:
IOTA Engineer Tom Mascari caught Kris Bryant's 99th Career Home Run ball while attending a Cubs game the Monday before the show. Tom's flawless catch was recorded for posterity and can be seen here. While technically not part of Lightfair, it was still a fantastic start to the week!
On the first day of the show, IOTA's PoE-CP12 Power-over-Ethernet Emergency LED driver won 'Best in Category' for Ballasts, Transformers, Drivers, Systems and Kits. This year, the category was expanded to include more product types, creating a much more crowded competition than in previous shows, making David Crenshaw's and Rafael Ordonez's achievement even more impressive!
2018 marks 50 Years of Operation for IOTA, and to celebrate this milestone, we catered in food and beverages for our many exhibit visitors. It's our way of showing our appreciation for your continued support these past decades. Without you, our customer, IOTA could not have grown to be the innovative emergency lighting leader that we are today!
